Its time once again for the annual Lockwood Merchants Holiday Sale, sponsored by the Lockwood Chamber of Commerce.
Laura (Rook) Ireland is retiring after 24 years of service in Dade County. The public is invited to come by the Dade County OACAC Neighborhood Center on Thursday, October 29, 2009 anytime from 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. to wish Laura well in her retirement.
Mark your calendars! Everton PTSO Fall Carnival will be held on Friday, November 6th, beginning at 5 p.m. with dinner, followed by games from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the gym, basket raffles at 8 p.m. and crowning of our king and queen at 8:15 p.m.

Make plans to attend the "Hoedown at the Homestead" on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site near Ash Grove. Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the event will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
