The new Greenfield preschool hosted an open house Friday, August 7 from 3- 6 p.m. for the public. Families and community members came to see the newly finished preschool building. Sandee Mason, preschool teacher and Nancy Reid, preschool teachers aide, along with Cheryl Mack, superintendent, Cheri Walters, elementary principal and Tim Black, school board president were present to welcome the public and show off the new facilities. This is an exciting time for the school district. One preschool classroom will be used this year with plans to possibly open the other preschool classroom for students in the near future. Students ages 3, 4 and 5 years old will attend a full day preschool 5 days a week. The class is full at this time. For more information, call the elementary at 637-5921.
