Miss Jessica Julian Crowned LHS 2009 Football Homecoming Queen

The Lockwood Tigers celebrated their annual football homecoming Friday night, September 25, by hosting the Miller Cardinals and crowning a new queen at halftime.

The Tigers were disappointed, however, as they were defeated by Miller, 40-12. Lockwood dropped to 2-3 and goes to Diamond this week. Miller is now 4 - 1 overall and in league play.
Highlighting the evening was the crowning of the new 2009 queen. Theme for the evening was “Paint the Town Red & Black”.

Representing the Freshman class was Miss Brianne Schmiegelow. She is the daughter of Jennifer Thieman and Brent Schmiegelow. Brianna was escorted by Patrick Whittington and Blake Abbiatti. Patrick is the son of Kim and Steve Weaver. Blake is the son of Greg and Sharon Abbiatti.

Representing the Sophomore class was Miss Stefanie Rae Nentrup. She is the daughter of Jeff and Jenny Nentrup. She was escorted  by Vincent Mellinger and Joseph Preston. Vincent is the son of  Shannon and Regina Mellinger and Joseph is the son of David and Julie Preston.

Representing the Junior class was Miss Angelica Lee Maloy. She is the daughter of Jeannie Spraggs. Angel was escorted by John Harris and Eric Carrier. John is the son of Randy and Carmen Harris and Eric is the son of Harry and Tara Carrier.

Representing the Senior class was Miss Jessica Julian, daughter of Jason Julian and Teresa Coose. Jessica was escorted by Gareth Eldred and Dylan Ingels. Gareth is the son of Greg Eldred. Dylan is the son of Eddie and Christina Ingels.

The flower girl was Miss Gatlyn Clawson, daughter of Scott and Jessie Clawson.

The ball carrier was Master Kale Rader, son of Luke and Krista Rader.

The crown carrier was Master Jake Julian, son of Jason Julian and Kelly Maize.

This year’s hanger was Chance Mayden, son of Steve and Jane Mayden.

Taking the honor and being crowned the 2009 football homecoming queen was Miss Jessica Julian.
