Miller Homecoming Queen Hopefuls

The Miller Cardinals will celebrate their annual football homecoming on Friday evening, October 9, as they play host to Diamond with kickoff at 7 p.m.

This year’s homecoming theme is “Casino Queen”.

A pep rally will be held Friday, at 1:30 p.m. a parade will begin at approximately 2:15 p.m.,  going around town, behind the elementary school  and down Main Street, then back to the school ending by 3:20 p.m.

Floats will include anyone in the junior high and senior high school dressed in red and white - riding, walking, etc.

Highlighting the evening will be the crowning of the new 2009 homecoming queen just prior to the game at approximately 6:35 p.m.

Young ladies vying for this coveted title are: Freshman, Miss Brittney McNutt, Sophomore, Miss Kayla Gammill, Junior, Miss Sarah Blevins and Seniors, Miss Laney Calvin, Miss Bailey Carpenter and Miss Kelsey Allen.

The flower girl will be Hailey Schnake and crown bearer will be Jake Leeper.

A dance will follow the game from 10-11:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
