Jackie Eugene Covert, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, July 1, 2010 in St. John‘s Hospital in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 77 years. The family will have memorial services at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010 in Lockwood Cemetery with Pastor Travis James officiating. Cremation was under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.

Dorothy Marie Eskew, age 91, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2010 after a lengthy stay at Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Funeral services, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Mt. Vernon with Rev. Jack Daniel officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
