Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial followed in the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.

Freda B. Johnson, age 88, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 4:45 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon. Funeral services were held Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with burial to follow at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.
