A group of local boys are celebrating their successful baseball season with a record of 42-8 at time of printing.
They started out the season as an AA team, being moved to AAA due to their outstanding performance.
During the season they were named Champs in the Springfield USSSA 10U Open Competitive League at Cooper Sports Complex.
They placed first in the Season Opener and Frozen Ropes Tournaments; second in the Slugfest II Tournament, all held in Nevada, MO.
On June 27 they finished the USSSA 10U AAA State Tournament, held in Nevada, MO, taking second Place.
They were unable to accept an invitation to the 10U AAA World Series in Mississippi due to cost.
