Paul Gregory "Greg" Wallen, Jr., of Arcola, MO, departed this life on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 34 years.
He was born on March 11, 1977 in Springfield, MO to Paul Gregory Wallen, Sr. and Pamela (Coose) Allen. Greg was united in marriage to Heather Fogg on July 25, 2011 in the Arcola Christian Church. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, wonderful brother and a dear friend. Greg loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing all sports and was an outstanding basketball player. Greg also liked to golf, horse riding, shooting and ranch farming. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, always rooting for his favorite driver #17 Matt Kenseth and looked forward to one of the biggest races of the year, the Daytona 500. His family was the most important thing to him and his kids were his world. Greg was a hardworking man and always put other's needs before his own.
Survivors include his loving wife, Heather Wallen; two sons, Austin Joseph Fogg and Daltun Arlie Wallen; two daughters, Adriauna Lillith Wallen and Briar Miriam Wallen; his parents, Paul Wallen and his wife Rhonda and Pam Allen and her husband Chris; four sisters, Jill Masterson, Natasha Myers, Jamie Hillman and Rochelle Wallen; his grandparents, Norban and Betty Wallen and Jack and Becky Coose; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 in the Arcola Christian Church with Pastor Larry Wheeler officiating. Burial followed in the Hartley Cemetery in Masters, MO. The family received friends on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul Gregory "Greg" Wallen, Jr. Memorial Fund at Liberty Bank. Services were under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
