Mae Marie (Jones Fisher) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, formerly of Greenfield, departed this life on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Mt. Vernon Place Care Center at the age of 76 years, 27 days.

She was born December 30, 1942, in Dade County, Missouri, to Clarence Conard Jones and Opal Kathrina Pierce.

Mae attended the Dadeville schools. She married Robert D. Fisher May 11, 1966, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Mae spent her career in the field of healthcare working with the elderly and other needs. Mae was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Greenfield.

Preceding her in death were her parents Clarence Jones and Opal (Pierce) Owens; Robert D. Fisher; a sister, Connie Katherine Daniel; brother, Lile Dee Jones; and her beloved grandson, Lile Joshua Blu Fisher.

Survivors include her three children: Theresa and husband, Ron Masoner, of Blue Springs; James and wife, Cheryl Fisher, of Mt. Vernon; Tammy and husband, Brian Heldenbrand, of Rolla, Missouri; four step-children: Bobby and wife, Ruth Fisher, of Newton, Kansas; Carol and husband, Mike Pendleton, of Mt. Vernon; Peggy Willis of Webb City; and Mike Fisher and wife, Becky, of Springfield; 11 grandchildren: Javan Fisher and wife, Jaime; Jesse Fisher and fianceé, Stephanie Prouty; Jimmy Anders and fianceé, Emily; Janessa Anders; Jonah Tonasket and fianceé, Kayla; Jaime Tonasket; Ronda Doak and husband, Zac; Alyssa Masoner; Daniel Masoner; and Malachi Heldenbrand; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, James Jones and wife, Michelle, of Mt. Vernon; sister, Joyce Campbell of Greenfield; and brother, Donald Jones of Greenfield.

Mae’s memorial service will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 220 North Main Street, Greenfield, Missouri. A private burial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
