Gerald Ray (Butch) McCann

Gerald Ray (Butch) McCann, 72, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019, at his home in Edinburg, Texas. He was born August 25, 1947, in Watseka, Illinois, son to the late Alice Ermin (Edwards) McCann and LeRoy George McCann.

Butch was a 1965 graduate of Miller High School in Miller, Missouri. He loved playing golf and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his most-trusted sidekick, Sire.

Butch is survived by his beloved dog, Sire; his daughter, Traci Rae Osborn and husband, Rodger, of Wentworth, Missouri; granddaughter, Kaelyn Rae Powell and husband, Clayton, of Granby, Missouri; grandson, Colter Lee Osborn and wife, Abby, of Harmony, Pennsylvania; four great-grandsons: Huck Christopher Powell, Caiden Parker Osborn, Cyler Lee Osborn, and Cipton Lyle Osborn; and one great-granddaughter, Hazel Rae Powell.

Butch is also survived by four siblings: Bonnie (McCann) Stouffer and husband, Gil, of Kingman, Arizona; Patricia (McCann) Fees and late husband, Ted, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; Don McCann and wife, Ann, of Fair Grove, Missouri; and Larry McCann and wife, Pat, of Graff, Missouri; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends throughout the community.

Visitation was held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Miller First Baptist Church in Miller, Missouri, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.
