Bobby Leroy Barker, age 91, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Missouri Veteran’s Home, in Mt. Vernon.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, was held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Grays Point Cemetery, west of Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home, PO Box 108, Miller, Missouri, 65707.

Eugene Wilbert Boxberger

Eugene Wilbert “Gene” Boxberger, age 90, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, formerly of Miller, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Saint Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

A celebration of Boxberger’s life was held Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller. A private family burial will be held at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be sent to Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members while serving our nation or to the Saint Luke’s Hospice in care of the funeral home at P.O. Georgiana G. Green, age 77, of Marionville, Missouri, died Saturday, December 25, 2021.

Wayne Lee Gerry, of Mt. Vernon formerly of Lockwood, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri at the age of 90.

Clarence Henry “Snags” Lechner, 91, died suddenly on Friday, December 24, 2021, while awaiting treatment for internal bleeding at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

A funeral mass under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora. Burial followed at the Calvary Cemetery in Verona, Missouri.

Memorial donation in memory of Snags can be made to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church for the Stations of the Cross Project in care of the funeral home.

Reva Lois West, age 96, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon. Burial was at the Goss Cemetery northwest of Mt. Vernon at a later date.
