Ima Jean Theurer

Ima Jean Theurer, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 85 years.

She was born on December 4, 1930, in Lockwood, Missouri, to Adrian and Clara (Polston) Daniel. Ima Jean graduated from Lockwood High School.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Theurer on June 6, 1948, in Lockwood, Missouri. Ima Jean was a wonderful homemaker. She also was a beautician for many years.
Ima Jean was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Adrian and Clara Daniel; and her husband, Kenneth Theurer.

Survivors include two sons: K. Michael Theurer and his wife, Janice, of Lockwood, Missouri and Patrick A. Theurer and his wife, Jeannie, of Lockwood, Missouri; one sister, Bonny Douglas and her husband, Roy, of San Francisco, California; five grandchildren: Terri Dial and her husband, Jason; Jill Shelby; Kara Gallup and her husband, Darren; Steven Theurer and his wife, Megan; and Lesa Theurer; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, in the Lockwood United Methodist Church.
Burial followed in the Lockwood Cemetery. The family received friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Lockwood United Methodist Church.
