Ella Mae Vanhooser

Ella Mae Vanhooser, of Dadeville, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, April 1, 2017, in the Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility in Stockton, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.

She was born on April 28, 1936, in Dadeville, Missouri, to Clinton W. and Lavonda M. (Hayward) Speight. Ella Mae graduated from Dadeville High School. She was united in marriage to Billy C. Vanhooser on May 22, 1954, in Dadeville, Missouri. Ella Mae was a member of the Bona Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clinton and Lavonda Speight.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Vanhooser of the home; three children: Darrel Vanhooser and his wife, Rene, of Aurora, Colorado; Debbie Worthington and her husband, Randy, of Dadeville, Missouri; and Brad Vanhooser and his wife, Susan, of Dadeville, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Darris Vanhooser and his wife, Marsha; Nicole Vanhooser; Dalton Vanhooser and his wife, Sandra; Josh Worthington and his wife, Corry; Brian Worthington and his wife, Sarah; Ben Vanhooser and his wife, Audra; and Andrew Vanhooser and his wife, Julie; seven great-grandchildren: Nathan Vanhooser, Audrey Vanhooser, Wriston Worthington, Gray- son Worthington, Corbin Worthington, Tate Worthington, and Boone Worthington; two brothers, Carl Speight and his wife, Loretta; and Dennis Speight and his wife, Nan; two sisters-in-law: Mary Hoover and Bettie Vanhooser; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, in the Bona Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Bona Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, April 7, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Bona Church of Christ.
