Graveside services, under the direction of Pugh Funeral Home, Golden City, were held Monday, April 10, 2017, at First Christian Church I.O.O.F in Golden City.

Janice Corinne Carter, age 76, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at her home.
A celebration of life for Ron and Janice will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at their home. Private burial will be at the Garoutte Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

William Ward Torbett, age 83, of Liberty, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Alamance County after several weeks of failing health.

A funeral service under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville was held Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church of Marionville. Burial followed at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery.
