Karen Ann Wilson

Karen Ann Wilson, age 73, surrendered to the Lord peacefully on May 19, 2017, at the Veterans Palliative Care Facility, Fayetteville, Arkan- sas, after complication resulting from heart failure.

Karen was born on January 20, 1944, in Rockford, Illinois. Karen attended nursing school and upon graduation was commissioned as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. She was honorably discharged and went on in her career caregiving to the disabled and elderly.

Upon her retirement, Karen and her husband, Harold, moved to Three Hills, Dade County, Missouri in 1992 and resided there until her passing.

Karen is survived by her husband of fifty years, Harold Wilson; sister, Nadine Foster; her children: Kimberly Burns and her husband, Gregg (Arcola); Bill Wilson and his wife, Catherine (South Greenfield); and Laurie Ayers (Republic); her grandchildren: Garret, Sean, Cassidy, Baylea, and Luke. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

Karen requested a private burial and funeral. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her during her last days.

She was dearly loved and will be missed.
