Melvin Lee Purdy, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2017, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home at the age of 97 years.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 8, 2017, in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Burial followed in Collins Cemetery.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017, at the church.

James Edward Crider, age 85, of Marshfield, Missouri, formerly of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, was held Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, Missouri.

Lawrence Frederick Duett

Lawrence Fredrick Duett, age 72, of Stotts City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Stotts City. Burial will be at the Flatwoods Cemetery, in Bennett Springs, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
