The Walnut Grove Tigers, playing in the Class 1 Missouri State Final Four Baseball Tournament for the first time in school history, lost both games in the Final Four played at O’Fallon on May 30, 31, 2018. The Tigers lost to St. Elizabeth 4-2 in the first game and fell to Green City 14-2 in the third place game. Walnut Grove ended their season with a 22-3 record. Oran won the Class 1 title.
