Madge Lorene (Carmack) Thompson

Madge Lorene (Carmack) Thompson, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.

She was born on July 21, 1937, in Greely, Colorado, to Bernard F. and Reba (McMasters) Carmack.

Madge was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church, Lions Club, and Eastern Star. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Donald Thompson; one son, Kenneth James Evans; one grandson, Christopher January; and one brother, Harold Carmack.

Survivors include three sons: Ronald January, Kevin Thompson, and Michael January; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Dusseau; one son-in-law, Lemuel Barry; four granddaughters, Erica Thompson, Haley (January) Eckels and husband David, Afton (January) Swenson and husband, Martin, and Emily (January) Petersen and husband, Michael; and two great granddaughters, Daphne Petersen and Olivia Petersen.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015, in the Lockwood United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.greenfieldfuneralchapel.com. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
