Free Educational Workshop: Parents, Kids and Money Matters®

Parents with children ages 6 to10 are invited to a free educational workshop called Parents, Kids and Money Matters®.

 The workshop is designed for parents and their children to help kids learn about money and values. During the workshop, you’ll gain helpful information and receive practical tools to make teaching about money fun.

 The workshop will be presented by Thrivent Financial representatives, Jennifer Thieman and Thom Mehl. This is an educational experience.

 Please join us for the Parents, Kids and Money Matters workshop on Tuesday, July 24, at 6 p.m.  at Immanuel Lutheran Family Life Center, Lockwood, Missouri.  There will be a complimentary dinner before the workshop.

 In addition, Ethan Giertz will make a brief presentation on protecting your identity.  Identity theft hits a new victim every few seconds. While these criminals are using a variety of scams to collect information, many of them are preventable. We’re here to both educate and prevent people from the dangers of ID theft.
