GoFundMe Account Launched For Taylor Family After ATV Accident

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched for the family of Siearra Taylor, 15, who was declared brain-dead and subsequently passed away following an ATV accident July 18.

In the accident, the vehicle landed on top of her, and her heart stopped once it was lifted off her. She was reportedly without oxygen for up to 10 minutes.

After being transported by air ambulance to the nearest trauma center, she showed no response to external stimuli, and had been unresponsive prior to the stopping of heart.

“We have decided that we can’t let her live like this and she wouldn’t want to,” her family said in an online post.

Taylor died of her injuries this past weekend.

Funeral arrangements are reportedly pending with the Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
