Carol Virginia (Bugg) Roy
Carol Virginia (Bugg) Roy left this life in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 21, 2018, at home after a short illness. She was 79 years old.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rex Roy; her daughters: Denise Kendrick and her husband, Dan and Terri Maples and her husband, Steve; granddaughter, Jordan Goodwin and her husband, Mike; great-grandson, Kendrick; and many friends and relatives.
Carol was born on April 13, 1939, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Myrtle Wilson and Shelton Bugg. She grew up in Greenfield, Missouri and graduated from Dadeville High School.
She met and then married Rex Roy on June 28, 1957. Rex and Carol spent their married years in California where Carol worked at Woolworth and at Pacific Bell Telephone as am operator.
After moving back to Missouri in 1976, she enjoyed working at the Bobby Vinton Theater and most recently as a receptionist at OACAC.
Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered by anyone who knew her for her love of animals and just her love.
