2018 Homecoming Parade on September 28

by Preston Hyde | JH/HS Principal

To the Community of the Greenfield R-4 School District,

The Greenfield R-4 School District would like to invite you to participate in 2018 Homecoming Parade on September 28 at 1 P.M. The theme of this year’s homecoming is “Sink the Pirates” as we are playing Pleasant Hope in the football game that evening. Our high school students will represent each class with a float, our GYAA teams will be represented, and our high school volleyball and football teams will also participate in the parade. Last year, our students did an excellent job decorating their floats and we had a great turnout from the community. This year, we are looking to add to the parade and want to invite anyone who would like to participate with driving a classic car or tractor, or any business that would like to create a float for the parade. If you do not have either one of those, we would like to see everyone pack the square with Wildcat pride.

The parade route will go in front of the elementary school and then circle the square and end in front of the high school. If you are wanting Wildcat gear, the Greenfield Booster Club will be selling shirts and hats on the square during the parade.

To sign up for the parade, please contact Mr. Hyde at phyde@greenfieldr4.org or by phone 417-637-5323 before September 26th.
