Loretta Mae Zach

October 17, 2018

Loretta Mae Zach, of Lockwood, Missouri, left her earthly home to be with Jesus and her parents on October 3, 2018.
She was born on October 11, 1955 in Lynch, Nebraska, to Edward and Bernice (Hansen) Zach. Loretta graduated from Lynch High School in 1973.
After graduation, Loretta worked many years in the physical therapy field in Kansas City, Missouri, before changing careers. She retired from Kemper Financial Services as a mutual fund consultant in 2002. Loretta purchased a mobile home and moved to rural Greenfield, Missouri, to be near her sister and parents.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bernice Zach.

Loretta is survived by her sister, Bernita Taylor and husband, Frank, of Lockwood, Missouri; her nephew, Ben Taylor of Hays, Kansas; and a host of special cousins and friends.
Everyone who knew Loretta will remember her by her smile, fun loving spirit, and her strong will. She enjoyed living out on the farm her last years. Loretta loved to feed the many varieties of birds, and anytime the Nebraska Cornhuskers or Chiefs were on TV she had to cheer them on. Her younger years were spent traveling to many different states.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Lockwood United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Wetzel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lockwood United Methodist Church or to the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility.
