Leslie Lane Taylor

Leslie Lane Taylor, 89, Springfield, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Cox Hospital, after a long illness.

He was born in Dallas County, Missouri, on January 30, 1929, to Lonnie Victor and Faye Ellen (Lane) Taylor.

Leslie was a member of Hillside Baptist Church. He owned and operated Taylors Food Fair in Greenfield, Missouri, for many years. He was a National Guard veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gregory Lane Taylor; three brothers: Hershel, Leryn, and Carl Lee; and a sister, Zelma.

Survivors include: his wife, Rosalee Taylor; a son and his wife, Brad Lee and Kim Taylor; five grandchildren: Cassie Taylor and her husband, Brad; Shauna Romine and her husband, Daniel; Brandon Taylor and his wife, Mindy; Brittany Erisman and her husband, Josh; and Jordan Taylor; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Juanita and Joan; and two brothers: Jack and Don Taylor.

Graveside services were Monday, November 5, 2018, in Nemo Cemetery, near Pomme De Terre Lake. Services were under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Missouri.
