Enoch Jr. Coose

Enoch Jr. Coose, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in his home at the age of 82 years.

He was born on August 13, 1933 in Thayer, Missouri, to Enoch W. and Rosa E. (Fraley) Coose.

Jr. moved with his family to Lockwood when he was 2 years old. He graduated from Lockwood High School. Jr. served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was united in marriage to Marlene L. Scotvold on November 8, 1958. Jr. was a lifetime farmer. He was a member of the Maple Grove Church of Jesus Christ where he served as an elder.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Enoch and Rosa Coose; and one brother, Hubert Coose.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marlene Coose of the home; two children: Michael of Lockwood, Missouri and Leasa of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Fern Stoll of Lockwood, Missouri; two brothers: Jack Coose and his wife, Becky, of Lockwood, Missouri and Jerry Coose and his wife, Loraine Coose, of Lockwood, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015, in the Lockwood Christian Church. Burial followed in the Lockwood Cemetery. The family received friends on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church.
