Garry Lloyd Hall
Garry Lloyd Hall was born August 3, 1940, to Raymond and Mamie (Underwood) Hall in Dade County, Missouri. He passed away in his home on April 13, 2015, following a short illness, at the age of 74..
Garry grew up in the South Greenfield and Everton area. He married Louretta Cox, May 26, 1962. After living in the Everton area they moved to Bois D Arc, Missouri.
Garry was a well-known auctioneer for over 40 years. He and Don Buntin had Buntin and Hall Auction Services.
In later years it was Halls Auction Service along with Lyndel and Tuffy Harper. He had bought and sold horses and tack since the late 1960s until his passing. He worked as a ring-man for Roberts Brothers Sale Barn in Bolivar for many years.
In 1981, Garry and Louretta purchased The Piper Place, as it was deemed by the kids, where he was currently residing in Ash Grove, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Louretta; sister, Janice Jones; and father-in-law, Earnie Cox.
He is survived by daughter, Leanne Witt and husband, Parish, of Bois D Arc; son, Lyndel of Ash Grove; one grandson, Austin Witt. He is also survived by one brother, Darrell Hall, Fair Grove; three sisters: Carol King of Buffalo; Betty Ringgenberg, Everton; and Peggy Douty of Greenfield; brother-in-law, Bill Jones of Everton; mother-in-law, Hazel Cox of Ash Grove. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 6-8 p.m. at the Ash Grove First Baptist Church. Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., April 17th, at the Ash Grove First Baptist Church with burial in the Ash Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Greene County 4-H Foundation / Shoot Sports, or the donors favorite charity.
Services are under the direction and care of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Missouri.
