Atwell Sheldon Pete Young, age 95, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial with full military honors followed at the Shiloh Cemetery northeast of Miller.

Nellie Melville

Nellie Ernestine Melville, age 80, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015, in the funeral home chapel.
