Robert “Tom” Thomas Anderson

Robert “Tom” Thomas Anderson, 67, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Tom, the son of Robert L. and Ruby L. (Spidle) Anderson, was born in Lawson, Missouri, on November 11, 1951. Tom and Katie (Deer) Anderson were united in marriage on June 2, 1973. They shared over 45 years together.

Tom was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a fine example of the fruit of the spirit: loving, kind, patient. He was loyal to a fault and was always fair. Tom was always working and he used his hard work to show his love for God and for others. Above all, Tom adored his family, he especially loved his children and grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Tom is survived by his wife, Katie Anderson, of the home; children, Heidi Michaelis and husband, Seth, of Fair Play; Eddie Anderson and wife, Meagan, of Kansas City; grandchildren: Samantha Michaelis, Hannah Michaelis, Parker Anderson; mother, Ruby Anderson; sister Nancy Danner both of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his father. 

Services were held Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Missouri. Burial followed in Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, Missouri.

Memorial donations can be made to the Everton Community Church Building Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
