Buena Faye Karleskint

Buena Faye Karleskint, age 90, a resident of Ft. Scott, Kansas, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Ft. Scott Mercy Hospital.

She was born October 1, 1925, in Pennsboro, Missouri, the daughter of Perry Renfro and Carrie Bird Renfro.

Buena married Anthony J. Tony Karleskint on March 4, 1946, in Ft. Scott. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2010.

Survivors include five sons: Jim Karleskint, Lawrence Karleskint, Jack Karleskint, Ed Karleskint and Chris Karleskint; four daughters: Sue Mildfelt, Kathy Higgins, Mary Jo Clements and Pat Warford.

Father Robert Wachter conducted Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 12th at the Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Burial followed in the St. Marys Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Marys Catholic School and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
