Ruby Janette West

Ruby Janette West, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 81 years.

She was born on October 1, 1934, in Carthage, Missouri, to Joseph Clifford and Ruby (Gilmore) Hampton.

Janette graduated from Greenfield High School. She was united in marriage to Rex West on October 27, 1957 in Greenfield, Missouri.

Janette was a member of the Greenfield First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rex West; her son, Darren West and his wife, Wanda; her daughter, Dana West and Keith Cunningham; her brother, Joe Hampton and his wife, Lou Ann; four grandchildren: Bobbie Misner and her husband, Jerry; Greg DeJager and his wife, Cassidy; Derek DeJager and Keisha Donnell; and Connor West; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Greenfield Funeral Chapel.

Burial followed in Wetzel Cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral chapel.
