Dade County Schools to Remain Closed Until April 24

March 27, 2020

This afternoon (March 27), the school districts of Dade County announced that, after consulting with the Dade County Health Department, schools would remain closed until April 24 due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. The decision affects students attending schools in Greenfield, Lockwood, Everton and Dadeville.

"As long as we stay unified, and keep working together to make this distancing protocol work, it will work," said Pamela Allen, administrator, Dade County Health Department. "If we all work together and stay united, we might just be able to keep our COVID-19 exposure to a minimum."
