Max Alvin Melton, of Walnut Grove, Missouri, died March 31, 2020 at the age of 73, with his bride of 55 years and children by his side at Cox Health Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Walnut Grove First Christian Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday at 1 p.m. until service time in the church. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please be mindful of maintaining a social distance, and the capacity and seating may be limited. Margaret Lucille Butterworth, of Greenfield, MO, died Friday, May 29, 2020, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 91.

Bobby Ray Pennington, 78, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, died in his home on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, at the church. Burial followed at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
