Aldermen Accept Bid to Repair Hail Damage at New City Building

The city of Greenfield purchased the former state office building on Grand Street earlier this year to serve as a new combined city hall and municipal justice center. The roof of the building was damaged in the May 3 hailstorm, as was the roof of the city maintenance department building, visible at far left. (Vedette file photo by James McNary)
