Food Distribution Truck Expected July 29 at 11 a.m.

by Max Huffman, Dade County Sheriff's Office

The next food truck is expected to be here by 11:00 AM on Wednesday July 29 at the Main Street Baptist Church. We are planning to distribute pallets of food to the same communities as we did before. This food comes from the USDA as part of the Farm to Table program. We are receiving the food through the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Program.

If you can use the food, then come get it. There are no requirements. Folks who usually receive food through OCAC are encouraged to get their groceries through the Ozarks Food Harvest program. This food is for everyone, especially those who do not qualify for services from OCAC.

Chris Daniel has again volunteered to haul the load from Mount Vernon to the Main Street Baptist Church.

As soon as the truck arrives, the food will be transferred to volunteer trucks and trailers.

Volunteers are set up to deliver to the following locations

Please watch for announcements or contact them to confirm when you can pick up.

Main Street Baptist - Brenda Adams and many others.
Distribution begins as soon as it is unloaded

Dadeville School - Lori Sneed and the Dadeville FFA
