Dade County Nursing Home Receives First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

The Dade County Nursing Home received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, January 5. Board member Harold Simmons was the first one to receive his dose of the vaccine, followed by the staff and residents.

A pharmacist team from CVS pharmacy set up and followed strict procedures and guidelines. The staff offered assistance and aided in the comfort of the residents.

Dade County Nursing Home is scheduled to receive the second dose in February.
Sleeves rolled up and all smiles to begin this new year.
