Lawrence, Barry Counties Partner to Reschedule COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

February 25, 2021

From Janella Spencer

Administrator, Lawrence County Health Dept.

After cancelling two COVID-19 vaccination clinics last week (Feb. 14-20) due to the weather, Barry and Lawrence county officials are happy to announce those dates have now been rescheduled. In addition to the rescheduled dates, two more dates have been added to administer 1,000 more doses. Together these clinics will vaccinate an additional 3,000 people in Barry and Lawrence Counties.

If you had previously scheduled with the Lawrence County Health Department for February 17, the new date is now March 10, 2021, at the same appointment time.

The Barry County Health Department will contact previously scheduled residents to schedule for one of the dates listed following.

If you had scheduled a vaccination with either health department and already received a vaccine elsewhere, please call the appropriate office and let them know so they can take you off the schedule. In Barry County, call 417-847-2114; in Lawrence County call 417-466-2201.

If you were not previously scheduled for an appointment, residents may call the Barry County Health Department at 417-847-2114 for one of the dates following.
