The Dade County Health Department will hold a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic on April 9 at Main Street Baptist Church on the south side of Greenfield off Highways MO 39 and U.S. 160.
Unlike previous shot clinics, this event will utilize the single-dose, one-and-done COVID-19 vaccine produced by Johnson & Johnson. DCHD Administrator Pam Cramer confirmed that 200 doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine would be provided to the DCHD specifically for this clinic.
Cramer said that the clinic will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until all doses of the vaccine are administered. No appointment will be necessary, and shots will be administered on a first come, first served basis. Individuals will remain in their vehicles the entire time.
There is no charge to recipients for the doses of COVID-19 vaccine being administered during this clinic.
