Betty Joan Freeze

Betty Joan Freeze, 79, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on February 26, 2016.

Betty was born the daughter of Walter and Jessie Pendergrass on June 13, 1936. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Freeze.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Freeze; daughters: Janice Freeze, Shirley Stuart, Wanda Pettey, Peggy Gibson and Diane O’Bryan, all of Kansas City; brothers: David, Charles and Kenny Pendergrass; sisters: Janette Mitchell and Marlene DeClue, all of Everton Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.

A visitation was held on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services were held following the visitation with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kansas.
