Duane Eugene Garoutte, age 68, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, at the Round Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the funeral home chapel.
