Darrell Steven Helmar

Darrell Steven Helmar, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2022, in his home at the age of 63.

He was born on June 4, 1959 in Stockton, California, to Douglas Wayne Helmar Sr. and Denzel Faye (Wallen) Helmar. Darrell was united in marriage to Tamara Newcome on December 8, 1999. He worked as a roofer and a stucco mason. Darrell enjoyed gardening, and was an avid Raiders fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Douglas and Faye Helmar; his wife, Tamara Helmar; one sister, Janis Stirm; and one brother-in-law, Mark Kenedy.

Survivors include one brother, Douglas Helmar Jr.; and two sisters, Sharon Brooks and Diane Kenedy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Lockwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
