Gwyndolyn Ruth Dake

- On June 28, 2022, Gwyndolyn “Gwyn” Ruth (Russell) Dake, 81, Miller, Missouri, died at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

A private service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Sycamore Cemetery. A celebration of life, at the Miller Senior Center, will be held the same day from 1-5 p.m., for anyone who wishes to attend. Arrangements are under direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller, Missouri.

Mrs. Dake had a saying: “If you cannot give me flowers while I’m alive, don’t give them to me when I pass.” In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made payable to the St. Susanne Catholic Food Pantry, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, in care of the funeral home, P. O. Box 108, Miller, MO 65707.

Bradley Craig Dorris

- Bradley Craig Dorris, age 41, of Jefferson City, Missouri, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at his home.

A funeral service, under direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, was held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, Mt. Vernon. Burial followed in the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made payable to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Brad Dorris AEL Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Moore Cemetery, west of Stotts City. A luncheon will follow.

- Sammie Ann McCarrell Turner, age 89, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, in her home surrounded by family.

The funeral service, under the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, was held Friday, July 8, at the Elm Branch Christian Church in Aurora, Missouri.
