Robert Dean “Bobby” Davidson

Robert “Bobby” Dean Davidson, 67, passed away peacefully at rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was comforted in the days prior by his loving wife, children, family, and friends.

Bobby was born on March 4, 1955 to Glenn Eugene and Florence Mae Davidson in Lockwood, Missouri as the youngest of five siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jeanie (Pruitt) Davidson; three children: Jenni L. Bishop, Jordan T. Davidson and wife, Brandy, Kali E. Kempton and husband, Michael; and seven grandchildren: Hannah, Bryson, Charlotte, Poet, Maci, Otto, and Tinley. Also, his four siblings: Larry Davidson, George Davidson and wife, Patti, Don Davidson and wife, Kathy, Janice Harrington and husband, Gary. He was preceded in his death by his parents Glenn and Florence Davidson, and his father-in-law Henry Pruitt.

Bobby was a simple man who loved the simple life with deep gratitude for his loving family and lifelong friends. His comfort in unconditional love and guidance from God was always present, especially in his time spent with his family and grandchildren. He found great purpose and joy in being a teacher to his children and grandchildren. He was always tinkering with a new project or fixing something that wasn’t working, and happily eager to encourage and involve anyone nearby. His laughter was deep and his humor was always ready, which created very fulfilling relationships along the way. All of Bobby’s great qualities will be remembered in the many lives he touched.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East in Springfield, Missouri. Burial followed the services at Lockwood Cemetery in Lockwood, Missouri.
