Guillermo “Jim” Leyba

Guillermo “Jim” Leyba, age 84, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 3:09 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Mt. Vernon. He was born March 8, 1938, in Las Trampas, New Mexico, the son of Joseph Smith and Maria Leyba. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Hernan, and Joseph Smith and two brothers, Mack Wayne and Larry McKinney. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
