Marvin Leroy Van Baale

Marvin Leroy Van Baale, 85, passed away at home Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was born in Knoxville, Iowa, December 19, 1938, to Henry and Lorene (Cowman) Van Baale.
Marvin retired to Greenfield in 1993. He married Colene Sadler in 2010. He was an avid sportsman, loving to hunt and fish. He enjoyed watching his K.C. Chiefs play and never missed a NASCAR race. He was a Navy veteran, serving 10 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry, and wife, Lorie.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Colene, of Stockton. Marvin is survived by four children: Dennis and Penny Van Baale, granddaughter Haley of San Diego, California; David and Michelle Van Baale of Indiana, grandchildren, Elle, Eddie, Lexie; Melissa and James Foster of Springfield, Missouri. grandchildren Jessica, James, and Justin; and Vanessa Moss of Snohomish, Washington.
Marvin was a loving husband, uncle, neighbor and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Marvin Leroy Van Baale will be on September 21, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 708 State Hwy 32, of Stockton, Missouri.
