Regional Director of Buckmasters Dies

Jackie Dwain McConnell, of Willard, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 61 years.

He was born on January 20, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri to Cletis and Janice (Aleshire) McConnell.
Jackie graduated from Greenfield High School. He worked in Public Communications for Missouri State University for 33 years. Jackie was also a Regional Director for Buckmasters.
Preceding him in death was one sister, Debra Moore.

Survivors include his daughter, Brittany McConnell and her fiancé Jason DeVoe; his parents, Cletis and Janice McConnell; his brother, Brad McConnell and his wife, Susan; one sister, Sandy Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Vaughn Cemetery. The family received friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
