Frank Boone Spurlock

Frank Boone Spurlock, 69, of Greenfield Missouri, passed away Tuesday afternoon September 13, 2016, at his home. Frank was born November 14, 1946, in Colfax Kentucky, a son of the late Emmitt and Madeline King Spurlock.
Frank was saved at a young age in Kentucky and followed the Baptist faith. During his life he served in the Army, drove a truck for 30 years and currently a farmer. Frank was united in marriage to Sharon Wynkoop on July 24, 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home; son, Dennis Spurlock, of Walnut Grove; daughters Christal Brannon and husband, Christopher, of Dadeville and Lucinda Burton and husband, Larry, of Mt. View; five grandkids: Darren Spurlock, Kayla Spurlock, Ashley Conn and husband, Colin, Marley Brannon and Gary Abel; one brother, Charles Spurlock; six sisters: Evelyn Busby and husband, Dillard, of Gaylesville, Alabama; Alice Overbey and husband, Roy, of Ewing, Kentucky; Martha Malone and husband, Pat, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; Marilyn Pinks of Winter Haven, Florida; Janet Spencer and husband, Randy, and Debbie Gulley and husband, Kenny, all of Wallingford, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Sandy Spurlock, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Sonny, Ray and Jimmy Spurlock; one sister, JoAnn Kerns and brother-in-law, Don Kerns.

Funeral services were Saturday September 17, 2016, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial followed at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation was Friday, September 16 in the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
