Donald Shelton

Donald R. Shelton 91, of Willard, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born October 12, 1933, in Ozark County, MO, to Floyd and Samantha (McDaniel) Shelton. 

On May 6, 1956, Donald and Lois Faye Potter were united in marriage and shared 44 years together, before her passing in 2000.

Donald was a lifelong area resident. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. Donald will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Donald is survived by son, David Shelton; daughters: Lora Wilson and husband, Gary; Pat Long and husband, Steve; Gaylene Wormington and husband, Lee; Donna Reavis and husband, Mark; Brenda Shelton; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Samantha Shelton; wife, Lois Shelton; four brothers; and fivesisters.

Graveside services were 1 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2025, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
