Charges Filed in Death of Tucker Berry
Special Prosecuting Attorney Stephanie Watson filed involuntary manslaughter charges today against a firefighter in the death of Tucker Berry in the Circuit Court of Jasper County.
Brant Cullen, of Carl Junction, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Tucker Berry, 21, of Lockwood, Mo.
Per the investigation, Cullen was the golf cart driver, on which Berry fell off the back of while Cullen was driving recklessly. Berry suffered a traumatic brain injury, resulting in his death. New evidence shows Cullen had consumed alcohol that day.
Berry and Cullen worked together at Redding's Mill Fire Department. Cullen has since been terminated from the department.
A wrongful death suit was filed by Berry's parents, Samuel and Tonya Berry, in February of 2025, against Cullen and Kreg Myers, who is another co-worker named in the incident.
