Jamie Glore

James “Jamie” Edward Glore 85, of Marshfield, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. He was born March 5, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Frank and Marie Glore. 
Jamie and Brenda were married in 1977 and shared more than 48 years together.  
Jamie graduated from Bois D’Arc High School in 1958 and went to work at Hutchens Industries in a variety of positions, mostly tool and die management in a 40-year career. He had a passion for fishing and old cars. He loved his home place for the peace, quiet, and privacy it offered, and seldom left home. He also loved three special dogs and they adored him. 
Jamie is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, James Allan Glore (Barb), Dana Rena-Jones (Scott), David Edward Glore; stepsons, Brian and Richard Vandenberg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nephew, John McSpadden. 
Jamie is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie Glore and sister, Betty Glore.  
Visitation began 1 p.m. until service time, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield.
