Marcia Stockton

Marcia Louise Stockton, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, July 11, 2025, in her home at the age of 81.

She was born on February 4, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to William and Lois (Ivins) Young.  Marcia graduated from Johnson High School in Sacramento, California. She was united in marriage to Douglas Bruce Noad in 1961 and two children were born to this union, Mindy and Mike.  

Marcia was reunited in marriage to Teddy Stockton in 1978, and he preceded her in death. She worked at O’Sullivan Industries for many years.  Marcia enjoyed going fishing.  She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Lois Young; her husband, Teddy Stockton; her son, Mike Noad; one brother, Richard Young; and her son-in-law, Tracy Hargis.

Survivors include her daughter, Mindy Hargis; her companion, Robert Johanson; one brother, Steve Young; four grandchildren: Dalton Hargis, Abby Hargis, Dylan Noad, and Marci (Noad) Black; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  The family received friends on Saturday at 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
